Celebrating the cultural and environmental diversity of the borderlands

Help us celebrate the diversity of the region at this year’s Borderlands Festival Fronterizo! This outdoor fiesta will include music, dancing, and performers. Cultural heritage and conservation organizations from the US and Mexico are invited to table at this event. We hope you can join us to celebrate the landscape and culture we share along the borderlands.

Date : Saturday October 5th, 2019

Tentative Time : 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location : Picnic area of Coronado National Memorial: a large, shade area in the oak woodlands along Montezuma Canyon wash. An open field at the east end will be used as a performance stage. Booths and outreach tables will be placed on the periphery of the field and in the oak trees. Facilities and water are available on site.

Parking : The day of the festival there will be near-by parking for performers and participating groups and organizations, otherwise public parking will be 4 miles from the picnic area and people will be shuttled into the event. Participants can drive in and drop off tables and materials, but will be required to park in a designated parking area outside the picnic area. ADA access will be available.
